Refined First Person gives the arms smoother, hand-made animations with soft transitions between them. The long idle doesn’t repeat, and small idle breaks keep it alive. Nothing changes in third person.

The Workbench

Press F2 in the game and the Workbench opens in your browser, where you tune the mod as you play. Every setting you move goes into the game as you drag it. Save changes keeps your values for the next time you play.

The test world

The mod comes with FPA_TestWorld, a flat, empty world for looking at first-person motion. It has one flat floor with a black and white checkerboard of 1 m squares, so you can judge distance and height when you move and jump. The clock stands still at noon.

Install

Put the mod in the game, and start the test world.

Troubleshooting

F2 opens nothing, or the test world isn’t listed.
